Nothin' better than the real thing
At the end of the Disneyland Matterhorn themepark fun ride, a facsimile of Yeti rears itself up and terrifies young and old alike.
Sometimes when braver people go by on their rollercoasters, they like to raise their hand and touch Yeti's likeness. It is believed this act invokes Yeti's blessing. Do they seek fertility? Longevity? Unimaginable wealth? As far as I know, a mere reproduction of Yeti, no matter how life-like and to-scale, has ever been capable of granting such a boon, nor can Yeti channel through the simulacrum and conduct a blessing via it. No, best stick with the real thing. The motto of the Himalayas isn't "Only in the Himalayas!" for nothing.
