Film: Taekwon dongja Maruchi Arachi (1977)

I would normally wait until some "theme week" to highlight this, but it's just too awesome to delay...

Back in 1977, an animated film from Korea, Taekwon dongja Maruchi Arachi 태권동자 마루치, featured a Taekwondo fighting kid who uses his martial artistry against yetis:




During the climax of the film, the hero has to fight a yeti and it's like the toughest opponent he's ever had:






But... surprise!  The yeti has a change of heart (See: Heel-Face Turn trope) and helps him kill the main villains at the end.
