There's something odd about the wampa.  Always has been.   Check this picture out that B-1 Bomber" Joey B. put together, showing the Four Faces of Wampa:

Clockwise from top left: wampa that was never used, wampa hand puppet that attacked Luke and Tauntaun, the Special Edition wampa, and wampa that approached Luke in the cave.  

So turns out he doesn't even have a definitive look. What an odd bird.  Anyway, let's look at some other wampa-related oddities.
