Zagor vs. Yeti
Zagor is an Italian super-hero still popular in Croatia and Serbia. In the comic, Zagor is an American living in a Pennsylvania forest in the 1820s.
I'm not sure how he ended up fighting yeti in issue # 272.

actually the story is quiet good, some kind of magician comes to USA from Asia with his henchmen and an evil plan (also with a captured yeti); after a long battle zagor beats the magician and yeti -which is not under the influence of the spell anymore- escapes.
from that day the yeti will be known as the bigfoot in USA
