I'm sure many of you are surprised to see such a post on this blog. Truth-be-told, I am something of a Renaissance Man, with very eclectic tastes. And I do, when the occasion warrants, take a mild layman's interest in the American hominids and their various representational manifestations in the cultural landscape.
