Jeralds Yeti

Scott Jeralds has a long history in the animation field as a triple-threat: director, artist, and producer. He was involved in creating many of the Saturday morning cartoons I adored growing up (Pirates of Dark Water, Garfield, Muppet Babies, Histeria, to name a few). He's still at it too - working on modern Scooby Doo and The Secret Saturdays.

He also dabbles in comic books as a penciller, and I've noticed in the last couple of years, the yeti seems to end up pretty frequently on the other end of his pencil.

Take this Scooby Doo comic he pencilled. There's yeti on the cover, and I also hear the issue contains a special segment of "Velma's Monsters Of The World" with a spotlight on the Abominable One.

He did this cover for the 8th issue of the "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" comic entitled ""Batman versus the Yeti", which contains an army of yelping yetis (still looking for additional images of said yelping yetis as of press time).

He did the art for the Secret Saturdays comic "Vengeance of the Hibagon", which is about a very yeti-ish cryptid (previously blogged about here). Plus, he's the main director of the cartoon (and if you keep up with that show (or read my post about it), you know the Shocking Big News (spoilers!)).

Yep, Scott Jeralds probably loves the yeti.
