There was a series of children's books in the 1970's called A. Mazing Monsters. It was written and illustrated by a father and his 10 year old son. One of the books was about a monster named Big Snowy, who I presume was a yeti.
One with fantastic teeth.
I would love to learn more about Big Snowy. There is precious little online about him.

Raven, I should have given you credit for being the reason I knew about Big Snowy in the first place - I saw your blog post! So do tell. What is your impression of the book? Is Big Snowy actually a yeti? Does he brush those crazy teeth of his? What's it all about?
Well, I would call him a Yeti. Mr. and Mrs. A. Mazing go on a ski trip and one of the mountains that they ski on happens to be Big Snowy! Big Snowy likes the A. Mazings so much that he follows them all the way home, but soon after begins to melt and shrink down to the size of a thumb. So of course Mr. A. Mazing returns him to his home. He never brushes his teeth, I think they would melt as they seem to be made of icicles! lol.
