Yes, Yeti Knows His Feet Are Encased in Ice...



They are shoes, okay? All part of the ensemble.

Boris Vallejo knew this very well when he painted this portrait. Yeti kicked him one or two times as payment for the piece and it stinged. Note the complete lack of ice-boots in the rest of his oueuvre. All the bare-skinned barbarian women through the years could have surely used them, but Boris was still sore from the ice-kicks. "I've had enough of ice-boots to last me a life-time," he cryptically said in 1973. "I really don't need any reminders."
