White City: What's in a name?

It's the name of an area within London and Moscow, and the nickname for a city in Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Serbia, Italy, Sweden, as well as the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition and the fictional city of Minas Tirith from Lord of the Rings.
