At the 2015 D23 expo, was this mysterious yeti photobombing a fan. How come I've heard nary a word?

Whoa, cool yeti figurine!  This instagram post indicates it's a happy meal toy for Burger King/Hungry Jack for a series called "Monsters of the World", but I can't find anything to confirm that.  What's the deal!

This hat was purchased and worn by a Swedish family in Mallorca, Spain - but where did they buy it?

Yeti plush in undies!  Obviously for sale, has a tag and everything.  Anyone know anything about it?

Oddity of the Week

Oddity from Action Comics Vol 1 255 (1959)

This is from a Congorilla comic story, and being from 1959, it fills the gap of yeti stories that were coming out annually at the time (see bottom of this post for list). I would LOVE to learn more about this story, but can't find anything online. What's the plot? Why does he have a barrel?

This wallpaper for Defense of the Ancients (2006) clearly shows a yeti (one with extremely odd horn-tusks) as one of the main enemies but I can't find any other reference to yeti in the actual game.

Anyone know what's going on here?
