Heroes of October 31, 2015

Now, more than ever, we have a vast array of choices facing us on the day called Halloween when we go guising. We can be anything under the Sun. Even the Sun itself!

But some people make the bravest and most valiant of choices. They eschew the wearing of all the many options - the runs-of-the-mill, if you will. Nay, these worthy few select the One True Real, Honest Choice. The Choice of Champions...

They be yeti.

And thus, these souls upon whom all praise should be rendered enter stridently into the Halls of Heroism.... as HEROES.

This year, the date October 31, 2015 saw many heroic inductees added to the roster of legends. Begin, we now do, to bring you fleeting snapshots of the heroism in action, as it most notably occurred on that Spooky Saturday at the very Edge of Ooky Ooky October.

Famous celebrity people were heroic too, if you can believe it.

Kylie Jenner's costume was mislabeled as "Eskimo princess", which isn't even a thing. It's obvs yeti.

Some folks made references to specific yetis from the Popular Culture and did so with admirable skill, talent, aplomb, etc. I am compelled to applaud them.

The quadruplet Kimball boys all opted to be different yetis, and their mom made the costumes.

Wow, what is up with this German toy? I think it's a mold to freeze ice around a yeti skeleton. I don't entirely understand how it works - what do the little stick-doohickeys at the bottom do? Pry out the ice-yeti from the mold?
