Davis Yeti

This Abominable Snowman figure by Kathy Davis is fashioned out of polymer clay; its body is needle felted.
I like how impy it is.

Relationship with Leprechauns

Michael Daley's take on what would happen if yeti met a leprechaun.
I think what's going on here is the yeti disapproves of the leprechaun's wanton laziness, penchant for frivolity and trickery, propensity to drink in excess, and miserly tendencies regarding material wealth. Daley's yeti is an ascetic. Either that, or the leprechaun's mom.

I'll show you drawings!
Many of you have written me to complain about the lack of accuracy in my yeti posts. An average letter goes something like this:
"Listen, McGregor, you know nothing of how Yeti is. All the time yer bibbling and babbling about this photograph and that photograph. While all the while, there be not a soul who actually photographed it! Nay, it weren't no photograph what caught yon Snowman, now is it? A drawin', it was. Aye, I declare tweren't nothin' but sketches and drawings that give a man a sense of eye-witness. No one got a camera anywhere near, now did they? They went and saw Yeti and they draw Yeti. Now I've gone and rhymed, now haven't I? That makin' me want to dance a jig now. Aye, and I'm a leprechaun, yay, ye've guessed it, McGregor. And I shan't given up my pot o' the yellow, now will I? Not for any gentleman with a fondness for "photographic evidence" of Yeti. No gold till ye at least admits that there be nothin' but drawins of Yeti and not no more! Let's see some o' dat drawins, sirree. Then let's play the fiddle and watch me jig! Huh-hah!!!"
You leprechauns are an irascible bunch. Okay then, Mr. Jiggy Jig. I'll show you drawings! Papa needs a ferrari.
Now I play the fiddle. Dance, little people of the wood! Dance!

Who is this bearded man?
Who is this bearded man? But more importantly, who is this giant ape beast that reaches out its arm in salutation?
Why, it's Gigantopithecus, a possibly real animal that has supposedly gone extinct. Or has it? There are many in the popcorn industry who believe anything they read. And they recently read that Gigantopithecus could quite possibly be still alive and living in the walls of Nevada gambling casinos. They ignored that second bit about the walls (quite wisely) and focused on the whole still alive part. Could Gigantopithecus be none other than Yeti, still around and now hanging out in incredibly cold wintry climes? The answer to that question can only be determined by those with an ability to foretell our destiny in people's palms, and I'll leave it to them. But without further ado, here's a look at what quite possibly could be Yeti, or at least someone pretending to be him.
Every single day, a man ascends to Gigantopithecus' head and begins to comb. The procedure is therapeutic for both man and GINORMOUS MAN-APE-THING alike.
The leprechauns want drawings? They got them.
This is just to give you a sense of scale. Look how FREAKING HUGE it is compared to, say, a kung fu fighter.
