This Martha Sawyers illustration's from the '60s is an interesting depiction. Definitely bear-like.  Or maybe a giant sloth. Anyway, it didn't catch on, but I like it.

I know, I know, I get confused too. But sloths are not yetis.



The above are all sloths. But I would argue that modern depictions of yeti have started to look a lot like stylized sloths, more than apes. Just something to think about.

Prince Lao

This looks pretty cool. A comic from France called Prince Lao. It looks like it involves a Tibetan boy and his adventures with a yeti. Either that or a giant sloth?
