On his blog Hotwax Mealworms, Colin Panetta occasionally adds to his Cryptid Portrait Series. The above is his illustration of the Florida Skunk Ape, a hairy hominid sighted in the Southeastern United States.
Photos alleged to be that of the Skunk Ape were discovered by cryptozoologist Loren Coleman to be developed at an Eckerd photo lab within two miles of the artist.

I've heard a lot about the "Skunk Ape" down here in Florida.
"Skunk Ape" has such a nice ring to it.
