[Destination: Italy] Romantic Holiday


Today's trip: ITALY

The word 'romantic' originally meant, 'from or about Rome.'  So anything Italian is often considered romantic.  Also, Lo Stivale means 'The Boot'.  Let's go!

At Lake Garda, there is a theme park called Gardaland, which is the third most popular theme park in Europe.

On a related note, one of the roller coasters there is going to be refurbished and renamed "Bigfoot".  It will feature a giant animatronic sasquatch. You can see pictures of the plans at Cryptomundo.

World of Warcraft Yeti

World of Warcraft, one of the most beloved and popular games of all time, has a yeti.

It is arguably one of the more recognizable characters in the game.

Many believe it is responsible for popularizing depictions of yetis having big horns.

Recently, it was announced that Duncan Jones, director of Moon and Source Code (and son of David Bowie), will direct a live-action World of Warcraft movie.

Will the film feature the yeti?

LET US HOPE IT.
