Not Yeti Friday - Igoo the Rock Ape

It is said the Tibetan word "yeti" means 'rock bear'. But yeti is usually depicted as more ape than bear, so it should really be 'rock ape'.

There is actually a famous Rock Ape in popular culture.

Igoo the Rock Ape from the 1960's Saturday morning cartoon show, The Herculoids.





Igoo was a good guy, one of the Herculoids. His rock skin was impenetrable and he was pretty strong.
