Doctor Who Yeti
Peter Sebeckis kindly sent me these photos of the Doctor Who yeti.
Check out Peter's blog, New Animals.
From the wikipedia entry:
"The Yeti of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who, although resembling the cryptozoological creatures also called the Yeti, are in actuality alien robots."
Also:
"The sound effect of a Yeti's roar is created by slowing down the sound of a flushing toilet."

I have been listening to the Doctor Who Yeti adventures on the car audio while driving around with work recently.
Nothing quite like some Tibetan mysticism, Doctor Who, the Sixties and the Abominable Snowmen all in one package!
By the way, I dig your Yeti Blog posts. Fantastic - keep up the good work
Thank you, Löst Jimmy. I appreciate your readership and kind words.
Excellent blog Henry. The image of the Yeti in the London underground in the Dr Who classic web of fear, still lives on in my memory.
Thank you, George Ternent!
