Not Yeti Friday - Abbey Bominable

Monster High an American line of fashion dolls inspired by monster movies and horror fiction. The characters are usually offspring of famous monsters such as Dracula, Frankenstein's monster, and the Mummy. And they have punny names like Draculaura and Clawd Wolf.

Relatively new to the series is Abbey Bominable. She is a foreign exchange student from the north, and daughter of the Yeti. For everything you'd ever want to know about her, I point you here!

This is further evidence that yeti being associated with the other Halloween monsters.

Drake Yeti

For his birthday, Kristy Drake made her husband a Yeti Softie since he's such a "Cryptozoology freak".

Nice use of X's.

Not Yeti Friday - General Skun-ka'pe

General Skun-ka'pe is a baddie from a Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse video game. He's actually an albino gorilla from Outer Space. He pronounces his name skun-KA-pay, while the while the protagonists pronounce it "Skunk-Ape", much to his chagrin, presumably.

Yetification

Jeff McClelland, creator and writer of Teddy and the Yeti comic, explains on his blog how he made this custom yeti action figure out of a Marvel sasquatch!

Spoiler: The tricky part is covering up all that pesky BROWN.

I say Jeff has the right idea! I'm going to start a campaign to WHITE-OUT ALL SASQUATCH. Who's with me?!

(Note: The views and opinions expressed in this blog are solely of the individual author (named Henry) and are not the views of JEFF MCLELLAND, his parents, affiliates, or subsidiary companies, nor probably of anybody else, anywhere, ever.”)

Arandu vs. Yeti

Looks like Arandu, The Prince Of The Forests, took on yeti a number of times...

I personally liked it best when he took on the bald elf headed alligators.

Happy Birthday, Ian Daniel Stewart's Son!

This should probably win a year-end award for the sheer, unconcentrated amount of yeti love on display.

Ian Daniel Stewart's seven year old son decided to have a yeti themed birthday party this year.

First, the son made a diorama:

Then the father took the image of the son's diorama yeti and made party favors of "Gore Free" gum as well as Yeti Droppings, Confetti, and Fingers:

Then using another illustration his son had done, father decorated the birthday cake:

And he made this excellent sign:

And it looks like son has drawn yeti before.

Hope you had a happy yeti birthday!
